Rivercity Grip and Lighting Rental
A motion picture film & video equipment rental and service company located in Memphis, TN.
Established in 2009 by Christian Hawkins, an experienced gaffer of over 25 years. The mission is to provide exceptional lighting and professional services to help make your production the highest quality possible.
Rivercity provides 1 Ton, 3 Ton, 5 Ton, and 10 Ton Grip Trucks that include grip and electrical distribution equipment package. They all carry an “on-board” expendables package whose items are billed for “if opened or used”. Specific expendables can be ordered.
The truck packages have been designed to handle most of the common production needs. The lighting packages are built to order depending on the production needs.
An inventory of specialty grip equipment like overheads, bounces, car mounts, and rigging is available. Rivercity carries Western dollies, Baby Westerns “doorway” dollies, skates, straight and curved track.
Location generators and electric distribution equipment is available for larger scale productions. Smaller portable generators, “putt-putts”, are available as well.
A vast array of Mole Richardson Tungsten, LTM HMI, ETC, and Kino Flo lighting is available. Rivercity has worked with and is happy to recommend experienced and professional film crew in Memphis. The film community here offers many talents and all work together well.
